How Does it Work?
If you contact us and explain your situation, we will set up an appointment and prepare for your crown. We will have you sit in a comfortable examination chair while we take a digital infrared image of your damaged tooth with our specialized camera. The image will capture a visual impression of the tooth, allowing us to continue with the procedure without using impression trays or uncomfortable materials. We will map the image with 3D CAD software and design your crown. A milling unit with high-speed burrs will fabricate and shape the crown. We will then cement it on the damaged tooth and make any adjustments, if needed. CEREC crowns are made of tooth-colored porcelain, so you do not need to worry about metallic shades and colors.
