WatchPAT Home Sleep Study

Obstructive sleep apnea can cause serious health problems, including heart attack. Our FDA-approved home sleep study unit, WatchPAT, provides a convenient alternative to lab-based sleep studies. In the comfort of your own bed, WatchPAT will record your peripheral arterial tone, or PAT, via a finger pad.
You’ll wear an armband, much like a basic wrist splint, and a chest sensor, while you sleep. Simply press one button, and WatchPAT will record oxygen saturation, heart rate, sleep and wake cycles, and REM/non-REM sleep. WatchPAT is completely patient friendly!
When you return the unit to our office, the doctor will run a report of the collected data. Analyzing the information will tell us if you have obstructive sleep apnea so that we can diagnose non-invasive treatment with the SomnoMed appliance.
