With CEREC, we’ve brought the latest in CAD/CAM dentistry to you. This innovative equipment allows our dentists to use 3D technology and special software to design a custom crown. We then mill the crown in our onsite computerized milling machine. Each crown is precisely cut from a solid CEREC Block, a material that’s undergone two decades of testing. Once the crown is complete, the dentist will permanently secure it during the same appointment. In just over one hour, you can have a beautiful porcelain crown with a fabulous fit.
CEREC also creates inlays and onlays, or partial crowns. These restorations are more stable than a filling, but they don’t cover the entire tooth like a crown.
